A Journey of Compassion and Purpose
What began as a quiet dream quickly evolved into a burning passion to uplift the most helpless members of society. This deep-seated desire to create lasting change gave birth to the Florence Aguh Wings of Hope Foundation.
Blessed with a compassionate heart, founder Henry Aguh began this journey by extending small acts of kindness to the less privileged. Over time, he felt a powerful, specific calling to protect and support indigent children.
The heartbreaking reality of seeing brilliant young minds drop out of school—or never step foot inside a classroom due to a lack of funding—deeply moved him. This distress sparked a lifelong mission to eradicate educational barriers.
Though transforming the educational landscape initially seemed impossible, the foundation gained vital momentum as like-minded individuals rallied behind the cause. To maximize the impact of these collective efforts, Henry formalized the mission into a non-governmental organization (NGO). This strategic shift allowed the foundation to expand its reach, identify more families in need, and establish a structured platform for donors to contribute to this divine assignment.

Henry Onyemaechi Aguh
Henry Onyemaechi Aguh was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Aguh in Umuabi, located within the Udi Local Government Area. He completed his primary education at Ekulu Primary School and his secondary education at Nike Grammar School in Enugu.
Moving to the United Kingdom to pursue higher education, he studied Business Studies at Lewisham College London. He later earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business, followed by a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Portsmouth.
Professionally, Henry is a skilled railway engineer, strategic planner, and certified mental health first aider. Beyond his professional accolades, he is widely recognized for his profound dedication to philanthropy, particularly his tireless efforts to uplift the poor, the vulnerable, and indigent children.
Guided by faith and a compassionate heart, his personal hobbies include praying, teaching catechism classes, watching movies, swimming, and dancing.
